You can contact a family welfare centre directly and all employees are under the obligation of confidentiality. Conversational therapy for couples and families is the most common service. The family welfare centre works together with the health care centres in their district, particularly on childbirth preparation courses and A Good Life Together, a course for new parents. Where appropriate and when the family gives consent, the family welfare centre will work together with the municipal child welfare services to determine what measures to take that are good for the whole family. The family welfare centre also works together with schools, the social security office, volunteer organisations, the religious community and similar entities.
